Scott Simon hosts “Magic in the Morning with Rachel and Simon.” He grew up in neighboring Texas and has had an appreciation for New Mexico since he was a kid (his family vacationed here a lot).

He and his wife Kathy have three children and two grandchildren. Kathy is an elementary teacher with Albuquerque Public Schools. The Simon family loves traveling. Camping is one of their favorite things (although Kathy says its time to make the transition from tent to RV). His other recreational passions include snow skiing, fishing, and golfing (full disclosure: he doesn’t do any of those well, but really enjoys them).

Scott also enjoys the relationships he has with show sponsors and station advertisers. He takes his personal endorsements seriously.
