We are proud of our local Law Enforcement and thankful for their service and keeping our families safe. The names of four New Mexican law enforcement agents killed in the line of duty will be honored today as their names are etched onto the Law Enforcement Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
Rio Rancho police officer Gregg “Nigel” Benner and Albuquerque police officer Daniel Webster were shot and killed during traffic stops in 2015. Navajo Nation police officer Alex Yazzie was killed by a domestic violence suspect during a gunfight last March.
